An Enclosure is a dual switchboard with a stationary panel on one side and a hinged door on the opposite side.

 

Typical Features Include:

 

• Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, or Aluminum Construction


• Necessary framing, cross bracing, and stiffeners to form a rigid, planar, self-supporting structure

 

• Closely assembled vertical sides to minimize visible seam gap with panel front

 

• Matched panels, trim, doors and frames to present a neat appearance when assembled

 

• Flexible designed end panels to facilitate future additions

 

• 3-contact point latch doors

 

• Fixtures for adequate interior enclosure lighting, and 120V power outlets

 

• Meticulous combined wash and phosphating prior to receiving a dual paint process

 

• Optional rack, cutout, auxiliary, or mosaic panel faces

 



A Cabinet is an enclosed unit with internal access provided by a door. Internal sub panels may be mounted on studs to the sides and back, or mounted on a hinge to swing out of the cabinet.
